• Delivered to a postal presort facility unsorted where efficiency and timelier processing, are important, but a smaller discount off of retail postage rates. We have an established relationship with Pitney Bowes PSI. Through that partnership, we are able to offer discounted postage rates to our customer for mail that would otherwise not qualify for postal discounts. PSI offers the following benefits:

Mail Exchange presort methodology directs specific zip ranges for finalization and USPS induction at regional Pitney Bowes PSI centers, thereby optimizing postage savings and deliverability.
  • Fast delivery - with fewer returns. Utilizing a Postal Presort Facility mail is delivered as fast, if not faster, than it would be if it were presorted by ODC. PSI’s sorting process is quick and prepares mailings for more efficient USPS processing.
  • PSI validates address accuracy and makes appropriate change of address corrections, if desired by the customer. 
  • PSI routinely reviews meter-imprint and barcode legibility, meter dates, and postage rates to prevent processing issues and improve delivery standards.
  • PSI is only one of a hand full of Facilities in the United States that have achieved MPTQM Certification (mail preparation total quality management) by the USPS.
  • PSI is the largest workshare partnership arrangement with the USPS.

Return Mail Processing - ODC also provides return mail processing. We will provide the customer use of a dedicated post office box used strictly for returned mail. ODC will empty the PO Box daily. Returned mail is scanned and through the use of unique barcodes or OCR scan line, the piece is identified. The reason for return is also captured and forwarding addresses are captured. We will provide the customer with a file containing this data for the customers use.
